Laura Allen Noel

I am a mixed-media artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. An interest in lost things, reckoning at mid-life, memory, and time is the thread that connects my work. I appreciate the “not knowingness” of what I encounter on the street, which even extends to what I make in the studio. The realization that the story is always incomplete or withheld from view is the strangely beautiful, sometimes comforting, reason I make pictures.
